Baked Macaroni and Cheese


1/3 (16 oz. pkg) Elbow macaroni, uncooked
1/2 cup margarine or butter
1/3 cup unsifted flour
2 tsp. dry mustard
2 tsp. salt
5 cups milk
4 cups shredded Sharp Cheddar cheese

Cook pasta according to pkg directions. Preheat oven to 375 F. In a large saucepan over medium heat, melt margarine; stir in flour, mustard, and salt. Gradually stir in milk. Cook and stir until mixture thickens slightly and bubbles. Remove from heat. Add 2 cups cheese; stir until melted. Spoon into a greased 13x 9 baking dish. Top with remaining 2 cups of cheese. Bake 40 minutes or until hot and bubbly. Let stand 10 minutes.

omg i love you, not in a creepy way :P one of my kids decided to "clean" and the recipe i'd saved was sacrificed as a result, the day before i was planning to make this. you've saved dinner lol
